Tripod

Tripod is a system used to improve or modify an ability.

Details

• The tripods of one skill are unlocked as skill level increases.
  • Tier 1 tripods: 4 skill levels
  • Tier 2 tripods: 7 skill levels
  • Tier 3 tripods: 10 skill levels
• Tripod have a level, ranging from level 1 to level 5.
  • Any tripod is by default level 1.
  • Amulets, dropped from Chaos Dungeons, contain leveled tripods. Amulet rarity determines which tripod level it can contain.
  • Skill Tree Transfer is used to permanently increase the level of a tripod. In the process, it consumes  Silver and the amulet, whether it succeeds or not. This has a chance to fail based on the tripod level. This chance can be increases with  Sage Powder.
    • The player must first complete Rohendel's quest "Ratik" and collect their fifth Ark to use Skill Tree Transfer.
    • Tripods do not need to be explicitly upgraded one level at a time. If the relevant amulet is available it is possible to skip levels, i.e. jumping from level 2 to level 4, in a single Skill Transfer.
  • A selected tripod always uses the highest level available.

Special Amulets

• Special Amulets are also sometimes available. They guarantee an upgrade to a specific level. These can be obtained as event rewards, from the Legion Raid Token Shop or after a balance patch when a skill used has been modified.
  •  Oath Amulet: Increases selected Tripod effect level to Lv. 2 (selected effect is Lv. 1)
  •  Prayer Amulet: Increases selected Tripod effect level to Lv. 3 (selected effect is Lv. 2 or under)
  •  Hope Amulet: Increases selected Tripod effect level to Lv. 4 (selected effect is Lv. 3 or under)
  •  Wishful Amulet: Increases selected Tripod effect level to Lv. 5 (selected effect is Lv. 4 or under)

Patch History

Arkesia Ignited

• Removed the 18 equipped leveled tripod limit. Selected tripods now always use the highest level available.
•  Hero's Seraphic Amulet (1640) added to Kurzan Front loot.

2 Extreme

•  Hero's Florid Amulet renamed to  Hero's Stately Amulet.

Wield the Storm

•  Hero's Florid Amulet (1525) added to chaos dungeon loot.
• Skill Tree Transfer required quest changed from Punika's "Festival Adventure" to Rohendel's "Ratik".

Feast with Friends

• New: Skill tree effect transfers directly to the character's Skill book. Players can select the Skill tree that they want to use in the combat skill menu (K) to use the Skill tree effect.
• Old: Skill tree effect transferred to gear, and players would then equip that gear to gain the Tripod's Skill tree effect.
• New unequippable Amulet item that drops from Chaos Dungeon.
• New unequippable special Amulets that can be obtained as event rewards or from the Legion Raid Token Shop.
  •  Oath Amulet: Increases selected Tripod effect level to Lv. 2 (selected effect is Lv. 1)
  •  Prayer Amulet: Increases selected Tripod effect level to Lv. 3 (selected effect is Lv. 2 or under)
  •  Hope Amulet: Increases selected Tripod effect level to Lv. 4 (selected effect is Lv. 3 or under)
  •  Wishful Amulet: Increases selected Tripod effect level to Lv. 5 (selected effect is Lv. 4 or under)
• Any tripod from tripod inventory has been added to the player's tripod collection.
• Can equip up to 18 leveled tripod at once.
• Skill tree Transfer success rates have increased:
  • Lv. 2 - 100%.
  • Lv. 3 - Increased from 30% to 50%. With Sage Powder, increased from 60% to 100%.
  • Lv. 4 - Increased from 15% to 25%. With Sage Powder, increased from 25% to 50%.
  • Lv. 5 - Increased from 5% to 10%. With Sage Powder, increased from 10% to 20%.
