Trade Skills allow you to gather materials found throughout Lost Ark. All siz trade skills are unlocked after listening to Artisan Urr's explanation during the Crown of Lakebar quest in West Luterra.
You can access your Trade Skills by pressing "L" on your Keyboard, or through the Game Menu. Each trade skill has a skill level which affects such things as the rate of success, loss of tool durability, and Skill XP earned when the skill is used. Your character use Trade Skill Tools, to gather Trade Skill Materials.
Every Trade Skill has their own Mastery Skills that provide passive, and active bonuses to your skill within that trade. By pressing "B" , you can swap to your Combat Skills to your Trade Skills. As you level up and increase your skills, you’ll unlock passive bonuses, and new skills for each Trade Skill.

Trade Skill Mastery[]
Each Trade Skill has its own set of Mastery Skills, but the bonus effects and values are the same:
- The first Mastery Skill increases the chance of getting Rare materials when using that Trade Skill. It is unlocked at Trade Skill level 1.
- The second Mastery Skill reduces the chance that tool durability will decrease when using that Trade Skill. It is unlocked at Trade Skill level 2.
- The third Mastery Skill increases the speed of that Trade Skill. It is unlocked at Trade Skill level 3.
Each Mastery Skill has a Mastery Level, which starts at 1 when unlocked and is incremented once for every 3 Trade Skill levels.
