Surge is a class engraving in Lost Ark, exclusive to the Deathblade.

Effect

• Activates the top level of Deathblade Surge, which unleashes the same powerful attack regardless of the number of Death Orbs available.
• When Death Trance is activated and skills other than Basic Attacks hit, Surge Enhancement effects will begin to stack proportional to the number of hits.
• This effect causes damage to increase up to 45 / 60 / 85%, and doubles to 90 / 120 / 170% when at the maximum 60 stacks. When Death Trance ends, gain up to 100% Death Orb Meter for each Surge Enhancement stacks.

  • Activates the top level of Deathblade Surge, which unleashes the same powerful attack regardless of the number of Death Orbs available.
  • When Death Trance is activated and skills other than Basic Attacks hit, Surge Enhancement effects will begin to stack proportional to the number of hits.
  • This effect causes damage to increase up to 45 / 60 / 85%, and doubles to 90 / 120 / 170% when at the maximum 60 stacks. When Death Trance ends, gain up to 100% Death Orb Meter for each Surge Enhancement stacks.
• Old:
  • Surge is cast at the maximum level of Surge Zero form, regardless of the number of Death Orbs you have, and Surge does not activate the effect of Remaining Energy.
  • When Arts is activated, each skill hit (Basic Attack and Awakening excluded), gain 1 stack of Surge Enhancement (0.4 second cooldown), up to a maximum of 20 stacks.
  • Each stack increases the damage of Surge by 5 / 5.5 / 6% and Atk. Power by 0 / 0.5 / 1%, up to a maximum at 20 stacks of 100 / 110 / 120% Surge damage and 0 / 10 / 20% Atk. Power.
  • When Death Trance ends, gain 5% Death Orb Meter for each stack you have, up to 100% at 20 stacks.

Destined for Destruction

• Surge effect changed:
  • New: Deathblade Surge is cast at the max level of Surge Zero form, regardless of the number of Death Orbs you have. Current Deathblade Surge does not activate the effect of Remaining Energy. When Arts is activated and skills other than Basic Attacks and Awakening Skills hit, the Surge Enhancement effect stacks every 0.4 seconds to a max of 20 stacks. This effect causes Surge Skill Damage to increase up to 100/110/120%, damage increases even more with larger stacks. Each stack increases Atk. Power additionally by 0/0.5/1%. When Death Trance ends, gain up to 100% Death Orb Meter for each Surge Enhancement effect you have.
  • Old: Deathblade Surge is cast in Burst Zero form, regardless of the number of Death Orbs you have. Burst Zero does not generate Remaining Energy, and inflicts +100/150/200% damage than Deathblade Surge cast while you have less than 1 Death Orb.
