Special Honing

Special Honing is one of the option available at the "Gear Honing" NPC. The others being Advanced Honing, Gear Transfer, and Honing.

Details

• Epic Raids, Kazeros Raids, Legion Raids, and Abyssal Dungeons drop Special Leapstones which can be used for Special Honing.
  • Valtan, Vykas, and Kakul-Saydon drop  Fused Leapstone (for gear with base item level 1250).
  • Brelshaza (Legion Raid) and Kayangel (Normal) drop  Advanced Leapstone (for gear with base item level 1390).
  • Kayangel (Hard), Akkan, Ivory Tower, and Thaemine drop  Concentrated Leapstone (for gear with base item level 1525).
  • Echidna, Behemoth, Aegir, and Brelshaza (Kazeros Raid) drop  Circulated Leapstone (for gear with base item level 1590).
• Special Honing offers a chance to hone an armor or weapon only at the cost of Special Leapstones.
• The gear still needs to be leveled up before the honing.
• The honing rate is fixed at the base honing rate value for that honing level, it cannot be increased in any way. Special Honing does not affect Artisan's Energy.
