Mokoko Challenge

The Mokoko Challenge is an in-game tutorial that helps the player's progression up to item level 1620. It layers in additional progression mechanics to help accelerate new players and characters through Tier 1, 2 and 3. It was released on July 20th, 2022.

Details

• Eligibility: The player gain the Mokoko Challenge if they did not logged in within the last 30 days or their account has been created within the last 30 days, and no characters in the player's roster (in any server of that region) has reached item level 1620 or above.
• Expiration: Mokoko Challenge is removed if 90 days pass after receiving it or if a character in the player's roster reach item level 1620.
• Having the Mokoko Challenge active grants the following effects:
  • Mokoko buff (does not work in PvP)
    • Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.
  • Unbreakable Mind: Taking lethal damage makes you Invincible for 3 seconds, instantly recovers 75% of HP, and resets cooldowns for Stand Up and Movement Skill (8 minute cooldown).
• A player with the Mokoko Buff shows an icon indicating that they're a new adventurer. The icon is visible within the character info, name tag, chat window, guild, friends, attack squad, and find party UI.
• Mokoko Buff will not be applied in the following locations:
  • Illusion Isle
  • Medeia
  • Lush Reed Island
  • Death's Hold Island
  • Asura Island
  • Snowpang Island

Unbreakable Mind details

• Cooldown for Unbreakable Mind will reset under the following conditions:
  • When moving between maps
  • When entering a gate
  • When clearing a gate

Arkesia Ignited

• Mokoko buff item level increased from 1540 to 1580.

Cool Retreat

• Mokoko Challenge missions removed, replaced by Growth Missions.

Break Through to Thaemine

• New:
  • Under 1540: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.
• Old:
  • Under 1445: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.
  • 1445 - 1539: Damage to monsters increased by 15%, damage received decreased by 30%.

Soul Harvest

• Added 'Receive all rewards' button in Mokoko Challenge UI. Players can now receive all claimable rewards in the selected category.

October 18th, 2023

• Mokoko buff reapplied for 90 days.

Jump to the Endgame

• Mokoko Challenge expanded from item level 1490 to 1540.

Wield the Storm

• Mokoko buff now also grant Unbreakable Mind: Taking lethal damage makes you Invincible for 3 seconds, instantly recovers 75% of HP, and resets cooldowns for Stand Up and Movement Skill (8 minute cooldown).

Elgacia Epilogue

• Mokoko Challenge expanded from item level 1475 to 1490.
  • New:
    • Under 1445: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.
    • 1445 - 1490: Damage to monsters increased by 15%, damage received decreased by 30%.
  • Old:
    • Under 1415: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.
    • 1415 - 1475: Damage to monsters increased by 15%, damage received decreased by 30%.
• Buff period for New and Returning players will be reset to 90 days.

Elgacia

• Mokoko Challenge expanded from item level 1445 to 1475.
  • New:
    • Under 1415: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.
    • 1415 - 1475: Damage to monsters increased by 15%, damage received decreased by 30%.
  • Old:
    • Under 1415: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.
    • 1415 - 1445: Damage to monsters increased by 15%, damage received decreased by 30%.

The Art of War

• Mokoko Challenge expanded from item level 1415 to 1445.
  • New:
    • Under 1415: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.

    • Under 1370: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.

Feast with Friends

• Mokoko Challenge expanded from item level 1370 to 1415.
  • Under 1370: Damage to monsters increased by 20%, damage received decreased by 40%.
  • 1370 - 1415: Damage to monsters increased by 10%, damage received decreased by 25%.

Spells in Spades - Added

• Mokoko Challenge added to the game. Players that have a new account or haven't played within the past 30 days and have no characters at item level 1370 or higher will receive the Mokoko Buff.
• Mokoko buff: 20% more damage to monsters and take 40% less damage
