Regulus, The Supreme Creator and forefather of the Lesser Gods, filled chaos with primordial light, creating the stars, the eternal Sun and Arkesia - the world of divine order. But chaos opposed Regulus. In the farthest limits of the new universe, where only echoes of creation were heard, Petrania appeared - a world with everything opposite to Arkesia. And if the eternal sun, shone over Arkesia, then the Red Moon rose over Petrania, its dim echo, the creation of the dark god Igharam.
For millennia, Arkesia and Petrania coexisted separately until the First Rift brought them together. The usual world order was disrupted. There are many legends about those times - and about the great gift of Regulus, the Ark of Primordial Light. About the only power that can dispel the Petranian darkness.
The last time mortals saw the Ark was during the Second Invasion, but its fate is forgotten, and it itself is lost.
