Ankumo Mountain

Ankumo Mountain is one of the Locations in the World Map of Lost Ark. It is located in the federation of Rethramis.

Description

After the Chain War, this zone and Rethramis Border were terrorised by a giant snake called Aquilok. The creature was also known as the Calamity of Rethramis and it blocked trade between Rethramis and Luterra, through Yudia. Before the game's event's, Aquilok was killed by archbishop Gustaven (Armen's grandfather). There are two dungeons named after the creature that the player can visit during the game: Aquilok's Head is where the snake was first seen and Aquilok's Tail is where it was last seen.

Ankumo Mountain is suffering from a plague that either killed many or turned them undead. The plague is similar to plagues that started across the world just prior to the Chain War, hinting that another demon invasion might happen soon. Armen and the player managed to stop the plague by purifying it's source in Aquilok's Head.
